Kent & Bradley's return trip to Vegas for the SRT Track Experience started out with a trip to the Carrol Shelby museum at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway where they got to see new Cobras and Mustangs being built. This one is the very first one the Carrol built in 1964 and he hung onto it throughout the years. He was recently offered $20 Million for it and turned down the offer!
While there, Kent & Bradley drove over to see the new Pat Tillman memorial bridge which bypasses the Hoover Dam. This view is taken from the bridge (about 900' above the river).
Looking from the dam up at the bridge - pretty spectacular!
Of course, the main attraction for the trip was a return to the SRT Track Experience where Bradley & Kent got to do autocross challenges, drag racing, performance driving, and hot laps with professional drivers. Here, Kent is preparing for the autocross in the purple Challenger. When Kent got his new Challenger last year, he and Bradley went to the same venue and did the same thing - this stuff just never gets old! This year, Bradley took 1st Place (out of 45) in the only two events that were judged. Of course, he had an awesome teacher for his skills and Kent was in the top 4 in both events too.
At the end of the day during hot laps, Bradley got to ride in this Viper at ~150 MPH, a ride he'll never forget!
After the boys finished the SRT stuff, they went over to the NASCAR track and got to dress up and ride some laps with professional drivers there too - this time at 175 MPH!
One of the NASCAR cars we rode in.......
If that wasn't enough testosterone refreshment for the day, the guys went over to the exotic car racing circuit and pretended to be SRT officials and got a pass to see the whole fleet of exotic cars - one of Bradley's favorites was this $200,000 Ferrari.
